Where the ocean meets the green, and everything feels LIT from within. Have you ever stood by the ocean hearing the crashing waves? It’s almost an out of body feeling. Feels spiritual.
My husband gave me words before I started this, to describe this golf course. One word. He said spiritual. This is probably how golfers feel, right before the swing. When everything goes quiet except the ocean.
Golfers come here to play the course, but they leave remembering the feeling, the wind, the light, the sound of water meeting the shore, and the strange stillnexx that settles in before you take the shot.
I wanted this impressionistic piece to lean into that space. Where the pressure and stress of the world falls, where time slows, and where the game becomes something meditative.
Pebble Beach. Iconic you are, take me to the California coastline!
